|
|
Hey Mutants,
I have uploaded a free demo version of Sequencomat V3 in the user area:
http://www.jazzmutant.com/lemuruser_moduledetails.php?id=191
For details about that stepsequencer and setup see here:
http://www.tonvibration.de/SequencomatV3.html
The demo version is restricted:
- it got only 4 instead of 8 tracks
- no patterns
- no CC and rollpad
- after 20 minutes it mutes itself and remind you that this is only a demo. You can easy de-mute (one button press on the Lemur) and continue, so it is not so bad during jamming, however I had to add this to be fair with my customers.
The Zip also contains a version of MU including the sequencer on a custom interface. It is Mu V1.0 and might be not compatible with the new beta. In that case just create a custom interface and add the normal module to it - should work.
The sequencer works with any DAW (or even without) and is not bounded to Ableton or Max4live. It uses "normal" Max with a free runtime.
I think you can already have much fun with the demo version. What I missed most while jamming was the pattern section.
If you think about buying the full version or have any question drop me a line.
Enjoy!

I have made a new video where I show the setup process in detail:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOzzlPRaucI
I am talking about the OSC connection, the IPs and ports, the Midiports, the settings and preferences in your DAW....
Although made for the new V3.2, this video can be usefull for users of the demo-version too.

ATTENTION:
if you got problems with the midiports in this demo version (e.g. no notes although everything seems right), re-choose the midiports - meaning: choose some different ports (you donīt want to use) and then choose your ports again. Background: The maxpatch might show some ports when loaded, but these are not initalised ("banged")...therefore "choose again to bang."
Sorry, that happend when I deleted the pattern section. It does not happen on full version (where you can save your ports as part of the setup anyway)
BTW: I started working on an update. V3.3 will contain free definable scales, random step values for note and octave and an autosave function (enables you to live edit patternchains of up to 160 steps) So...although the Lemur is offical dead now, users are not _________________ http://music-interface.com

hi there !!
Thank you for this news Mat
I have a request in fact it's been really good to add touch that open a digital keyboard to enter rapidly a BPM we want, and an other in Control change section (digital keyboard for controler number and a touch like XY pad to choose midi channel)
because i think it will be better, more easy and fast that rotate switch ^^.
thank you again and See you soon |

Hey,
I made an substantial update on sequencomat - Version 3.3
As you can see and read here: http://www.tonvibration.de/SequencomatV3.html
and here: http://forum.jazzmutant.com/viewtopic.php?t=2867&start=33
Beneath some major changes (scales, autosave ect.) I also followed Jipi-Senseis suggestion for CC parameter setting. (that was on full version 3.2 only, not in the current demo, where you got no CCs) You now choose them direct, as shown in the picture below:
But I didnīt change the bpm setting, because with rotary you can make a fade (!), with digital input not.
As said, this werenīt function of the demo anyway, but I am planning to do a new demo with all V3.3 functions.
More here soon
All the best

See you |

Hey all,
I have updated the demo version: http://www.jazzmutant.com/lemuruser_moduledetails.php?id=191
It is now based on new V3.3 including all new features!
Compared to the old demoversion (which was based on 3.1) it now got:
- definable scales and octaves
- step-propability
- control-change variation attached to each track
- switchable random variation on all stepvalues
- patterns and autosave
However, it is a demo version of a paid sequencer, so it has some restrictions:
- only 4 instead of 8 tracks
- only 10 instead of 100 patterns
- no saving or loading of sets
- time limited to 90 minutes each session
(after that 90 minutes you can reload the maxpatch to continue, but your current patterns will get lost)
You can have a lot of fun already with the demo version and you can test if Sequencomat V3.3 fits to your workflow before you decide to purchase the full version.
The zip contains the maxpatch (works with free max runtime), a module file for the Lemur (to combine with any project; 40% Lemur memory) and a project file for MU1.0. If you use another version of MU, you can combine the module with MU+custominterface, like decribed in the MU manual.
All details about setup of the sequencer and the full version here:
http://www.tonvibration.de/SequencomatV3.html
enjoy step-sequencing

The demo version of SequencomatV3 is no longer available in the user area.
But I uploaded a free SequencomatV3_lite as described here:
http://forum.jazzmutant.com/viewtopic.php?t=3594
This one is not timelimited and you can save your work.
It might be your first step into my Sequencomat series.
If you enjoy and think about buying the full version just contact me.
All the best
