Hey,
for all who havenīt already seen it: Peter Kirn from http://createdigitalmusic.com/ wrote an article about my SequencomatV3:
http://createdigitalmusic.com/2011/02/does-sequencomat-for-the-now-defunct-lemur-trump-ipad-touch-sequencers-watch-it-do-ableton-analog
Well, I am in contact with him for a while now. I started a new email discussion with him after he made a detailed description of music tools on the Ipad and the connection to hardware in one of his recent posts:
http://createdigitalmusic.com/2011/02/how-to-use-midi-to-make-an-ipad-more-musically-connected-productive-video-resources/
Maybe I was a bit cocky, but I told him that if it comes to plain midi stepsequencing SequencomatV3 eats all Ipad apps for breakfast and might even have some hardware sequencers for dinner after that he asked me to explain what in my opinion makes the tool unique and I answered in a long mail which is the main part of this post...
The problem many people forget in all that Ipad hype nowadays is, that it is not made for fast bidirectional communication. Most music apps have really trouble in communicate. So at last, it was much to early for the Lemur to die...there is no competitive product till now. Still love to cuddle my Lemur
btw: I am working on an update (V3.3) where I will integrate scales among some other functions. All users will get free update (asap).
PS: Thanks to all positive comments from users and other developers, I really appreciate
